The Walt Weaver & Terry Camp
Scout Troop 76B
Adventure Fund
Honoring a Lifetime of Friendship, Service, and Adventure
The Walt Weaver and Terry Camp Scout Troop 76B Adventure Fund was established by the family and friends of Walt Weaver and Terry Camp to honor their lives and to pass on to the Scouts of Troop 76B the same spirit of adventure, friendship, and service that defined them both.
Two Scouts. Two lifelong friends. United by Scouting, brotherhood, and a love of the outdoors.
A Shared Scouting Journey
Walt Weaver was a second-generation Scout in Troop 76B, earning the rank of Eagle Scout and devoting his life to Scouting as a professional Scout Executive. Terry Camp became a Life Scout in Troop 78 and later served Troop 76B as both Assistant Scoutmaster and Scoutmaster, mentoring countless Scouts along the way.
Together, Walt and Terry embraced every adventure Scouting had to offer, from Camp Horseshoe to Philmont Scout Ranch to canoeing the Minnesota Boundary Waters. Through these experiences, they built character, courage, leadership, and friendships that lasted a lifetime.
Carrying the Adventure Forward
Their families and friends hope that this fund will ensure that current and future Scouts of Troop 76B have access to meaningful outdoor adventures, opportunities to explore new trails, challenge themselves, and forge lifelong bonds.
May every Scout who benefits from the Weaver and Camp Adventure Fund:
- Seek bold adventures
- Build lasting friendships
- Grow in confidence and character
- Carry forward the spirit of Scouting that Walt and Terry lived every day
And may these adventures become stories told and retold for the rest of their lives, just as Walt and Terry did.
